WARDOGS Roles Guide: Medic, Recon, Support, Driver and Pilot

Choose a useful WARDOGS team job: infantry, Medic, Recon, Support, Driver or Pilot, with low-cost starting plans and the progression track each activity advances.

WARDOGS uses flexible loadouts backed by specialist progression tracks. The official Season 1 notes name Career, Medic, Recon, Support, Driver and Pilot tracks. Public guides sometimes call general fighting Assault or Infantry; verify the label shown in the current client before treating it as a separate track.

How role XP works

Role activity advances the corresponding track. Levels expose permanent unlock purchases; unlocked equipment still has a per-life price. Season 1 slowed the XP curve from level 6 and moved multiple Driver, Pilot, Medic, Support and Career unlocks. See the progression guide for confirmed changes.

Avoid expensive role mistakes

  • Do not learn helicopters with a loadout you cannot afford to lose.
  • Do not build a remote FOB that nobody can reach or supply.
  • Do not expose a Recon position for a low-probability shot after making a useful mark.
  • Do not revive into active fire merely because the body is close.
  • Do not abandon a transport where it blocks a spawn or route.
